Jim Green’s Bardahl Green Elephant ’77 Vega

Another P.I.R. regular and what a gorgeous, fast car! I modified this Revell Don Shumaker kit by adding 2 chutes, moving the engine forward, enlarging the body’s engine opening, grinding the grill smooth, shaping the front spoiler and front wheel well bumps, chopping the roll cage, cutting custom chassis tin and linkage, and installing wiring. The body is painted with Black Gold kandy organic green over B.G. orion silver metallic basecoat, and finished with some outstanding Slixx decals. Competition Resins Crower injection and rear slicks to complete this low profile beast.
